Dr. Khursheed Ansari is a Consultant in Neurosurgery at SevenHills Hospital in Mumbai. He joined the hospital in January 2016, and has about six years of experience overall in the field of Neurosurgery. Earlier he served as Neurosurgery Registrar at Wockhardt Hospital (Mulund, Mumbai) for three months towards the end of 2009 and then again as Consultant in Neurosurgery in the Department of Brain and Spine at Wockhardt Hospital (Mira Road, Mumbai) for a couple of months at the end of 2015. Dr. Ansari also worked as a Junior Consultant in Neurosurgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai from Jan-Oct 2014.
Dr. Khursheed Ansari completed his MCh (Neurosurgery) training with honours from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST) in Trivandrum. As a resident at SCTIMST for three years (2010-2012) he received training in microvascular neurosurgery, onco-neurosurgery, skull base surgery, endoscopic neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery and surgery for movement disorders. After obtaining the MCh degree Dr. Ansari stayed on at SCTIMST in 2013 to complete a one-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Skull Base Neurosurgery, during which time he trained in skull base surgery, endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery (pituitary surgery, craniopharyngioma surgery, etc.), and craniovertebral junction (CVJ) surgery.
